Fillings are used to repair teeth that have been damaged by decay. Traditionally, dentists used silver amalgam to fill the cavity (hole), leaving a dark shadow in your mouth. We routinely use composite, matched to the shade of your teeth, which provides similar levels of longevity and durability.

We can replace old, worn fillings or those that you would prefer to replace.

Your dentist will probably spot any cavities before you do. Or you may be experiencing unusual pain or sensitivity. Don’t worry, the procedure is quick and painless. We use local anaesthetic to numb the area, clean the tooth to remove bacteria and debris before restoring the tooth, usually in less than an hour.
