Most patients come to Finkle Hill because they’ve heard that we provide the very best and most compassionate dental care. We’ve attracted a talented team of general and specialist dentists, dental therapists and nurses who are here to put your mind at ease and provide exceptional standards of care and treatment.

The Finkle Hill team includes three experienced general dentists (Dr Cliff Palmer, Dr Clare O'Neill and Dr Liam O'Hara), our GDC registered specialist (Dr Matthew Gahan) and two dental therapists (Kelly Walker and Serena Lowes). Our team continually invest in their professional development and collectively have special interests in delivering restorative care, implants, Invisalign and composite bonding.

Rachael joined the Finkle Hill team in 2021 as an apprentice nurse working, and is currently working towards her level 3 NVQ. She brings a wealth of people experience from her previous career as a stage performer, and has quickly developed into an excellent dental nurse. She typically works with Liam, supporting the delivery of the both routine and restorative and cosmetic dental treatments. Rachael is a great addition to the Finkle Hill team.

Joanne Town
Lead Receptionist

Jo Town is the second half of the management team that ensures the practice runs as well as it does. She is the friendly face you will be most likely to meet at reception or speak to on the phone. She knows almost all of our patients by name, makes sure they feel welcomed to the practice and plans care in their interests. With a busy diary to juggle she has much on her plate. But she is unflappable.

Chloe Alvarado
Lead Treatment Coordinator

Chloe is our Treatment Coordinator. With her warm and reassuring manner she is able to answer all your queries about potential or planned treatment. Working in patnership with the dentists, she ensures a seamless treatment experience from your initial query through to scheduling appointments and arranging finance.

From a dental nursing background, Chloe is qualified to take impressions, digital scans, apply fluoride and take dental radiographs.

Lauren Thompson
Treatment Coordinator

Lauren is our Lead Nurse responsible for leading the nursing and ensuring the highest clinical standards. She is also our Children and Family Coordinator and an excellent dental nurse. She takes pride in using her skills in the widest sense, running her own clinics and delivering oral health education programme with our local schools. Lauren has additional qualifications in fluoride application, oral health education and radiography. She particularly enjoys working with patients with dental phobias, and runs sessions which support patients to deal with their phobias and advise dentists of how they can best be managed.

The standard of service provided by the whole team continues to be outstanding. It is an enjoyable experience to visit them and they get to know you and genuinely care. Even the hygienist is a pleasure to visit and that is saying something! I would recommend this practice wholeheartedly.

Having just had my quarterly hygienist appointment, I can confidently say that Finkle Hill Dental Care does go above and beyond when is come to the care and service you receive, it is a private service but peace of mind and the valuable advice you get is worth the subscription.

I used go hate going to the dentist after a couple of bad experiences when I was younger and I can honestly say that has now changed completely. Clare, Serena and the entire team at Finkle Hill are just a delight and offer an amazing service. They make you feel totally at ease and are so down to earth, it’s genuinely a pleasure going to see them all. If you’re a nervous patient, worry about being judged or hold any feelings of embarrassment, I would HIGHLY recommend them. You absolutely wont regret going.

I have just had my initial consultation as a new patient. I knew I had a few problems and was able to discuss all my concerns. I then had a thorough examination. We then went through the findings and discussed various options for the work that needs doing, I was given all the information. Everything was explained fully. My concerns were listened to. It was a great appointment where I felt totally at ease and came away fully informed. Very glad I registered with this practise. I can’t fault the service. Highly recommend.

I’ve been battling with my own NHS dentist for 18 months about a tooth that broke and keeps getting infected in spite of him repeatedly filling it. He finally agreed to extract it but not for a month. So I went to Finkle Hill. Liam was amazing. He said the roots of the tooth are fractured and the tooth is definitely not salvageable. I have an appointment on the 17th of December to have it pulled and hopefully will be on the road to recovery. He also found a cavity that my normal dentist has never mentioned! Great service! Excellent and friendly staff.
