No. Polynucleotide treatment involves injections and they can sting a little more than some other injectable treatments. Based on the area being treated & the method (cannula or needle) your Dr O'Neill may use either topical numbing cream or injectable anaesthetic to minimise any discomfort.

Most people will be suitable for polynucleotide treatment. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding this treatment is not suitable.
