At Finkle Hill Dental in Yorkshire, we take the our community responsibilities seriously.
That’s why, since 2017, we have been supporting local schools with our bespoke oral health education programme. We offer schools and nurseries age appropriate classes on teeth brushing and interactive sessions on healthy food choices.
The new government seems to agree this is a good idea and have included a similar programme in their plans to support improve access to dentistry. We were delighted that our local MP Keir Mather accepted our invite to join us at Athelstan Primary to see good practice in action and allow us share our views on what we think will work.
We hope to be part of the team that can start to turn the tide on access to dentistry and we look forward to continuing the conversation with Keir Mather MP and Wes Streeting MP.
