Dental Hygiene Therapist (Part-Time), Finkle Hill Dental, Sherburn in Elmet, LS25 Finkle Hill Dental is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a friendly, enthusiastic and confident Dental Hygiene Therapist to join our supportive, high-performing clinical team. This role is ideally suited to an experienced clinician who is passionate about delivering exceptional, patient-centred care and working to the full scope of their professional role. Initially, the position will focus primarily on delivering patient examinations, periodontal care and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT). As the role develops, there is a clear opportunity to expand both clinical scope and working hours, aligned with your skills, interests and the needs of the practice. This may include undertaking a broader range of dental therapy treatments, within a collaborative and well-supported environment. You will work closely with our dentists and wider clinical team to support patients in achieving and maintaining excellent oral health. We are seeking a clinician who is committed to continued professional development and keen to grow with the practice, contributing to a progressive, patient-focused service.
About Us
Located in Sherburn in Elmet, we provide high-quality family and cosmetic dentistry, including complex restorative care, dental implants and Invisalign. We are a family-run practice with a warm, supportive culture and a reputation for clinical excellence. We currently have three highly experienced Hygiene Therapists, three General Dentists and a Specialist who have grown and developed within the practice. Support, mentoring and professional growth are central to who we are. Our team is stable — people join us and stay. This role is available due to ongoing growth in demand.
The Role
- Two days per week:
- Monday: 8.30am – 5.30pm (8 hrs)
- Friday: 8.30pm – 5.00pm (7.5 hrs)
- Competitive pay: From £35 per hour, depending on experience and skills
- Self employed basis. 45 weeks per year. Some flexibility possible - please ask.
